In the sad event that your ceramic item arrives damaged, please email us attaching photographs of the broken item as well as the packaging it arrived in we will replace the item or issue a refund for you as soon as possible.
CANADA-WIDE SHIPPING ONLY
All parcels will be sent by Canada Post at a flat rate of $20 per parcel. We will send it as a Regular Parcel and this will take up to 7 (seven) days for delivery. Earth to earth Ceramics cannot bear the cost of the postage but we will do all we can to ensure that it is kept to a minimum.
Your items will be sent within 3-4 working days of receipt of your order and you will receive confirmation via email that the parcel has been sent. Please note that Christmas and holiday delivery time can increase due the workload of your local mail services.
LOCAL PICK-UP
A special local pick-up is being arranged for Thursday 1st December 2022 between 9.00am - 11.00am in the car park of Broadmead Village Shopping Centre, Victoria, near Starbucks. Please select this option if you would like to pick-up up your items. Another pick up day will be arranged for Thursday 15th December (9.00am - 11.00am) at the same venue. It is also possible to pick up your items from my home in North Saanich, - please contact me directly about this.
PACKING MATERIALS
Earth to Earth Ceramics is very careful to reduce our impact on the environment. Your ceramic items will be sent to you wrapped in recyclable carboard packaging and /or biodegradable packaging peanuts (made from corn starch) and contained in a recyclable cardboard box. If you find plastic in your packaging, please know that it is cleaned, re-used plastic. Better to re-use than to throw away.
CARE FOR YOUR CERAMIC ITEMS
Your functional ceramic items (eg. mugs, cups, bowls etc.) are safe to be put in the dishwasher, though we always recommend hand washing. Washing the item by hand is much kinder to the glazed surface and the item is much less likely to get chipped. The pottery will probably be fine in the microwave but as we cannot test a range of microwave ovens we recommend that you avoid using them in the microwave. As with all ceramics, avoid thermal shock - never put a cold item (from the fridge) directly into hot water, or onto a hot surface, - your pottery will not like it.
